LA. (Louisiana) To L.A. (Lower
Alabama)
My first time seeing @RousesMarkets
in Gulf Shores. YES INDEED.

I was born in Louisiana and moved to
Alabama several years ago. Walking into
Rouses when y’all opened the Mobile store
was like coming home. My husband and I
shop with you weekly and call it our “Date
Night”. Thank y’all so much for opening
here. We love it.

I am originally from Louisiana, but have
lived in Mobile for 25 years. When I tried
your gumbo today it brought me back to my
Grandmother’s gumbo.The whole store has
sent me back in time. I have missed all the
wonderful unique things about Louisiana.
And I have found them at Rouses. Thank
you so much and please do not change!!!
I went to store #51 on Old Shell Road.

This evening, while shopping in your
Theodore, AL store, I found all of your
employees to be friendly and helpful. I
want to especially compliment my cashier,
William. With employees like William on
your team, your company will continue to
grow! Thank you.

I love your Saraland store. Customer service
is beyond great. The selection is fantastic.
You have much surpassed my highest
expectations. Thank you for coming to
Alabama

I cannot get over how much better the
customer service is at #Rouses versus

CARL’S QUARTERS
Kicking Cancer in the Gut
OnApril 1st, Chef Carl Schaubhut, Executive
Chef at Café Adelaide, was diagnosed with
Stage 3 cancer. Chef Carl was featured
in the March-April issue (Little Italy,
Louisiana), and his passion for all things
Louisiana, including the St. Joseph Day
Altar’s of his youth, struck a cord with us
as well as many of our readers. You can
follow his journey at
com
. Chef Carl’s family and friends have
also set up a donation page via YouCaring
to help with expenses incurred as a result
of Carl’s treatment and forced hiatus from
work. Any and all funds raised go directly,
100% to help with those obligations. All
unused donations will go directly to cancer
research efforts through the Drew Rodrigue
Foundation.

Rouses on Baronne now has an electric car charging station.
Sometimes I daydream about the beer cave
and craft beer selection at the #Rouses in
New Orleans. —@You_Go_GwenCoCo
I shopped at store #41 in Gulfport,
Mississippi today and want to compliment
the staff in the deli department. I like the
anti-pasta salad on the salad bar and am
“picky” in the ingredients that I get.Though
it was freshly opened, I went back to the deli
to see if they had another tub that had more
mushrooms. Miss Nicole checked with the
person in charge of the salad bar and they
pulled out another tub. This is what you
call “customer service”!!! Thank you to the
deli department and their helpful attitude!!!

I visited your store on Veterans Blvd. by
Kent. I had one of the most helpful and
pleasant clerks. I asked Dominique if there
were any other NO Brew Coffees as only
one was left on the shelf. Dominique went
to the back and brought out an armful of
the coffees. Not often does a clerk run to
get you something, but also made sure to
bring enough out to stock the shelves for
the next guy. And super friendly! I had to
take the time to let you know.

Looking for that [darn] #WinnDixie card
to save money drives me insane. I promise
it’s [stuff ] like this that makes me go to
#Rouses instead. —@Royal_Update
