Yes, it is possible to have a DOWNTOWN grocer
selling LOCAL food w/ occasional rooftop patio party.

I don’t think anyone has as much fun at the grocery
store as I do. @RousesMarkets @MindyMoo

We ordered 200 lbs. of crawfish from the store on
Tchoupitoulas on Thursday for pickup on Sunday.
I confirmed the order on Saturday and added some
potatoes. When I went to pick it up, the crawfish were
hot out of the boiler and the seafood crew was boxing
it up. They even helped me load it into the car. The
seasoning was perfect. Thanks for making our wedding
party a success.

BUCKTOWN BRANDI SAYS:
My Mom is the Rouses shopper in my family. She literally feeds the masses.
Single uncle…check! College student cousin…check! You don’t need cash, just
an empty stomach and a smile on your face and she will feed you. It’s her cur-
rency. It’s how she does business. Every Monday you can expect red beans.
Duh! The woman is from the 9th Ward. Every Friday it is something fried. Get
it? Fry-Day. And Tuesday through Thursday you can expect some combination
of veal cutlets, pasta, pork chops…the staples ... Just like the Rouses hot line.

haven’t seen him in action,
you’re missing the whole
picture. Photographer Frank

in the name of getting the
perfect shot. Here’s one of
our favorites of Frank.
